I took this from the Kuwohi lookout in the Great Smoky Mountains NP. They have an invasive bug that killed a lot of their pines, but the forest is regenerating. I thought this image of a dying tree supporting new life was really cool.
I understand if you don't get it. Maybe you just don't have the refined artistic imagery gene that I was blessed with. This is why I share - to help you.
